Meet the Fall 2025 Intern team

  • Christopher Montalbano

    Christopher Montalbano is a Stony Brook Alumni. He graduated in the Spring of ‘25 holding a B.A in Sociology and Psychology, with a minor in Health Medicine and Society. He is an advocate for mental health awareness, with a large focus on men’s mental health. He is applying for Ph.D. programs to further research in this area and become a tenured professor.

  • Iman Khan

    Iman Khan is a Psychology and Sociology double major at Stony Brook University. She aims to further her career in UX design by applying her knowledge of user behavior and broader social systems to design empathetic and inclusive digital experiences.

  • Janna Muryawan

    Janna Muryawan is a graduate of Stony Brook University’s Applied Health Informatics Program. She is passionate about leveraging data and technology behind the scenes to drive meaningful, positive change in healthcare systems and population well-being. Her goal is to use data-driven insights to support better decision-making, enhance patient outcomes, and optimize healthcare delivery.

  • Jaison Phillip

    Medically qualified, highly resilient, dedicated, hardworking leader and a current Master's candidate in Applied Health Informatics. 13 years of high-acuity urgent care experience along with a passion to blend wholesome healthcare and technology thus eliminating the weakest link and challenges in navigating patient care.

  • Justin Restrepo

    Justin Restrepo is a Software Engineering Intern completing his bachelor’s degree in Computer Programming & Information Systems with a minor in Cybersecurity. Graduating in Fall 2026, he focuses on full-stack development and building innovative, real-world solutions as he pursues a full-time career in software engineering.

  • Lana Alzheimer

    Lana Alzheimer is a senior at Stony Brook University, where she is majoring in Psychology with a minor in Health, Medicine, and Society who will be graduating in December of 2025. She is passionate about applying psychological principles to workplace environments and plans to pursue a career in Industrial and Organizational Psychology.

  • Mashrika Khan

    Mashrika is a senior at Stony Brook University double majoring in Psychology and Sociology. As an intern at MindArch Health, she supports projects that promote proactive psychological interventions using a data-driven approach. She plans to pursue her PhD in social psychology to conduct research on underserved populations with the goal of expanding mental health accessibility.

  • Samantha Morreale

    Stony Brook University graduate working as a Research Intern at MindArch Health and a Behavior Technician for children with autism. Research interests focus on supporting underrepresented children and adolescents facing societal disadvantages. Planning to attend graduate school next fall in Experimental Psychology.

  • Aliya Mohammed

    Aliya Mohammed is a current psychology student. This year she has been interested in research and writing pertaining to well-being and contemporary psychological framework. One day she hopes to have her own private practice in which she plans to utilize various mediums to prevent, treat, and assist with crises.

  • Alyssa Torres

    Alyssa Torres is a senior at Stony Brook University, majoring in Psychology and minoring in Health, Medicine and Society. Additionally, she is also completing an MBA fast track program specializing in Healthcare Management. She is passionate about understanding how psychological and social factors jointly shape mental well-being, and plans on pursuing a doctorate in clinical or counseling psychology in the future.

  • Celina Hu

    Celina Hu is a Psychology Major in her Junior year, attending Stony Brook University. Aspiring to be in the medical field, she joined this internship to take on an active role in learning and advocating to provide preventative aid for different communities. Currently studying for Med School, with either a specialization in Dermatology or Psychiatry, she hopes to develop her communication skills to better interact with peers and patients in the future.

  • Emma Sheridan

    Emma Sheridan is a rising senior at Stony Brook University, majoring in Psychology with a strong focus on clinical research.  Emma is especially passionate about abnormal psychology and after graduating in 2026, she plans to pursue a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, with the goal of contributing to both academic research and clinical practice.
