MindArch Health Summer 2025 Intern Projects

  • PROJECT APOLLO v2: Our graduate intern worked to develop a machine learning model that plans to be tested with data with a goal to learn from outcome data in MAP. This model will dynamically score fidelity for solutions.

  • PROJECT HUSKY: Interns created chapter activities and chapter summaries of MAH’s EQUIP Course and integrated the course content onto the website.

  • PROJECT DIAMOND: Interns researched potential funding opportunities throughout the country and matched potential institutions who want to collaborate with MindArch Health to these grants.

  • PROJECT MOONSTONE: Interns created a repeatable outreach method for capturing survey data from three universities and initiated a case study report.

  • PROJECT OPAL: Interns worked on two sides of developing a web-based app to showcase clients progress through the MAP Software, and how their scores are being affected.

Meet the Summer 2025 intern team

  • Beth Sternfeld

    Beth Sternfeld is a senior at Brooklyn College getting her Bachelor's of Science in Psychology, with a minor in Thanatology, with the goal to pursue a career as a clinical psychologist.

  • Celina Hu

    Celina Hu is a rising junior at Stony Brook University, pursuing a Bachelor’s in Psychology BS, expected to graduate in 2027. She is actively participating in mental health internships and volunteering in the medical field to gain experience for applying to medical school

  • Christopher Montalbano

    Christopher Montalbano is a 2025 graduate of Stony Brook University, holding a Bachelor's of Arts in Sociology and Psychology, with a minor in Health Medicine and Society. He is currently preparing to apply to Ph.D. programs with the goal of becoming a professor.

  • Emma Sheridan

    Emma Sheridan is a rising senior at Stony Brook University, majoring in Psychology with a strong focus on clinical research.  Emma is especially passionate about abnormal psychology and after graduating in 2026, she plans to pursue a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, with the goal of contributing to both academic research and clinical practice.

  • Flor Zamalloa

    Flor Zamalloa is a rising senior at Stony Brook University, where she is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Health, Medicine and Society. She plans to attend medical school to obtain an M.D. and specialize in psychiatry.

  • Iman Khan

    Iman Khan is a Psychology and Sociology double major at Stony Brook University. She aims to further her career in UX design by applying her knowledge of user behavior and broader social systems to design empathetic and inclusive digital experiences.

  • Janna Muryawan

    anna Muryawan is a Master’s student in the Applied Health Informatics program at Stony Brook University, expected to graduate in Summer 2025. She is passionate about leveraging data and technology behind the scenes to drive meaningful, positive change in healthcare systems and population well-being.

  • Justin Restrepo

    Justin Restrepo is a Software Engineering Intern and undergraduate student graduating in 2027 with a degree in Computer Programming & Information Systems and a minor in Cybersecurity. Justin is actively pursuing a full-time career in software engineering, with a focus on building innovative technologies that solve real-world challenges
