  • PROJECT VENUS: Interns drafted a step-by-step guide for graphing data within the software aimed at improving coding efficiency and report clarity.

  • PROJECT ANDROMEDA: Interns analyzed survey data by demographics, and visualization mockups were created for interactive data viewing, enhancing data interpretation.

  • PROJECT PLUTO: Interns finalized data visualizations, and CDC data was reviewed for potential additions to the existing report, ensuring comprehensive data representation.

  • PROJECT SUPERNOVA: Interns condensed a comprehensive 29-page population report into a one-page summary for stakeholder communication.

  • PROJECT UPDATE THE LOGIC MODEL: Interns updated the logic model to reflect a software-first approach, transitioning from its original research focus.

  • PROJECT COMMUNITY OUTREACH: Interns developed strategies to increase software trial adoption through effective sales pitches and materials.

  • PROJECT STRATEGIC PLANNING OPPORTUNITY SUMMARIZATION: Interns analyzed user experience with new software features, and feedback was gathered to inform strategic planning.

  • PROJECT OUTLINE CONTRACTING PROCESS: Interns developed a step-by-step contracting process with feedback from college leadership, including stakeholder analysis and tailored materials.

  • PROJECT NIH GRANT: Interns conducted research to explore an NIH grant application, including grant summarization, annotated bibliographies, and evaluator biographies.

  • PROJECT DACHSHUND: Interns drafted a software demonstration video, to showcase the platform's capabilities.

  • PROJECT APOLLO: Interns conducted research to identify studies on preventative programs, policies, places, and practices related to the five elements of wellbeing, building a foundation of evidence-based solutions for product development and machine learning teams.

  • PROJECT MARS: Interns developed an annotated bibliography of machine learning models and presented, exploring their capabilities and potential applications within MindArch Health's AWS infrastructure.

  • PROJECT SATURN: Interns conducted keyword research using AI tools to to identify commonly searched terms related to risk factors, laying the groundwork for future qualitative data analysis.

  • PROJECT BLACK HOLE: Interns collaboratively explored AI's potential to suggest prevention strategies using language learning models on qualitative questionnaires and aligning solutions with risk levels based on normed survey data.

Meet the Summer 2024 Intern Team:

  • Abigail Kogan

    Abby Kogan is an Applied Mathematics major hoping to combine her passion for mental health awareness, public policy, and data analytics to create positive impacts. Abby was able to work with a team of passionate and dedicated peers, contributing to analytical projects as a lead intern.

    Grace Dominguez, is a SUNY Stony Brook Psychology graduate (2025) with a Health, Medicine, and Society minor. As an Operations Lead Intern with MindArch, Grace contributed significantly to projects and supported her co-interns throughout the Summer.

    Nicole DePasquale (she/her) is a social work student at Stony Brook University graduating in 2026. She interned at MindArch throughout 2024 as an Operations Intern and Operations Lead Intern, helping to strengthen the software.

    Samantha Morreale is a Psychology and Sociology SUNY Stony Brook Graduate. Samantha aspires to receive a Ph.D in clinical psychology to work in pediatric care.
